Step 1- Obtain a dedicated IP address and
port-range from the internet service provider (ISP). This must be unique so

inbound traffic themselves. It will also be very difficult if you are using NAT
with DHCP enabled, because there are only 2 reserved ranges for NAT with DHCP
enabled.
Step 2- Configure your firewall to allow all
inbound packets from the internet and your TCP stack. In Windows: Start Control
Panel Administrative Tools Windows Firewall with Advanced Settings. Set the
rules to allow all networks and active the NAT with DHCP checkbox. The option
labeled "Apply local port exceptions" must be set to Yes.
Step 3- Now you must set up an IPX network.
This is very easy. Download either the Win32 Dedicated Server or Steam
Dedicated Server and then follow their directions to set up the IPX network.
NOTE: You will need 4 file to run your server!
Step 4- After installing the files, you must
edit the DayZConfig.xml file in your DayZ directory. To get there, go to
"Start", type "run" into the search box, then press Enter.
In the dialogue box that appears, t without quotes, then press Enter again.
Thus your server is ready to go.
