"Love Hard Afdah," directed by Hernan Jimenez, follows Natalie (Nina Dobrev), a Los Angeles-based writer who writes about her disastrous dating competition for a digital website. When she meets her ideal lover, Tag (Darren Barnett), on the East Coast, she decides to surprise her for the holidays with a cloud.
When Natalie discovers she's been catfished by Tag's boyhood pal Josh, things go from bad to worse (Jimmy O. Yang). Josh offers to assist her with the tag to make things easier for her.
The video delves at the hazards of Netflix streaming, as well as online dating and how it may be dominated by physical looks. The film reinforces this idea with a funny statement that "true love" is "a film about individuals who fall in love with how they look."
