Nick Dow's blog : Natural mascara at home with your own hands
What is the most important and
indispensable decorative cosmetics in a woman's beauty
arsenal? Maybe it's mascara. It is she who makes the look more expressive
and gives brightness to the face as a whole. Even when time is running
out, a couple of strokes of the mascara brush - and minimal makeup is ready!
The best mascaras in terms
of sustainability are the ones you make yourself by mixing the ingredients you
see fit. How to make mascara with your own hands? There are
several good recipes. We will consider them below.
Ingredients
for making mascara at home
- Coloring base for homemade mascara - it can be ordinary
activated charcoal, which is sold in a pharmacy. To prepare the
mascara, the tablets will need to be crushed properly.
- As an alternative - antimony (other names: kohl, kajal)
- a special natural eye paint. This ingredient is preferable to
activated charcoal because it also has a healing effect on the eyes
(improves visual acuity, fights microbes).
- Nourishing oils - cosmetic oils that help
cilia grow long and fluffy. These include: burdock, castor, cedar,
jojoba oil.
- Additional components
1. To create a real vitamin bomb,
you need to add 0.5 - 1 capsule of vitamin A and E to the mascara (you can use
one, you can both).
2. Grapefruit oil serves as a
preservative.
3. The thickener is beeswax, as well
as almond or coconut oil.
4. Aloe juice or panthenol
(pharmacy) increase the volume of cilia.
Do-it-yourself
express mascara recipe
Mix 2 tablets of coal (or 1 teaspoon
of antimony) with a few drops of aloe juice. If there is, add a thickening
ingredient, then it will be more convenient to apply.
This mixture can be used as mascara
and eyeliner. However, there is a minus: it will not work for a long
time. So you should prepare such mascara in small portions.
Complete
handmade mascara
Mix in a small bowl antimony (or
coal) and 1 teaspoon of nourishing oil and aloe (or panthenol), as well as 1
tsp. beeswax. Heat everything in a water bath, stirring, two hundred
until smooth.
Draw the mixture into a syringe and
let cool. When cooled to room temperature, squeeze out excess liquid (it
will be on top), and move the pasty substance into a mascara tube and use to
color eyelashes.
The
easiest recipe
If you don't want to bother with
"mascara" at home, you can simply choose a natural mascara that does
not contain harmful chemicals in the ramayoga.ru online store. Only
natural products for face and body care and only harmless, natural decorative
cosmetics are presented here.
It is worth recalling that natural
mascara is washed off in the same way as the store counterpart: with soap and
water or a special eye makeup remover. Note that most mascaras dry very
quickly (when made without wax), so don't apply too much at once.
