TWC (Time Warner Cable) email settings can vary depending on the type of email account you have. In this guide, we will discuss the TWC email settings for SMTP, IMAP, and POP3, and how to configure them.
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is used to send emails from your TWC account. The outgoing server settings for TWC email using SMTP are as follows:
1- Server: mail.twc.com
2- Port: 587
3- Encryption: STARTTLS
IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) is used to access and manage emails on the TWC server. The incoming server settings for TWC email using IMAP are as follows:
1- Server: mail.twc.com
2- Port: 993
3- Encryption: SSL/TLS
POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3) is also used to access and manage emails on the TWC server. The incoming server settings for TWC email using POP3 are as follows:
1- Server: mail.twc.com
2- Port: 995
3- Encryption: SSL/TLS
To configure your TWC email account with these settings, follow these steps:
1- Open your email client or app and navigate to the account settings.
2- Select the option to add a new email account.
3- Enter your TWC email address and password.
4- Choose either SMTP, IMAP, or POP3, depending on your preference.
5- Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings for the chosen protocol.
6- Save your changes and test the account by sending a test email.
Roadrunner Outlook Email Settings Steps
If you are a Roadrunner email user and prefer to use Microsoft Outlook to manage your emails, you may need to configure your email account settings to access your Roadrunner email. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set up your Roadrunner email in Outlook:
1- Open Outlook and go to the File menu.
2- Select the Info option, then click on Add Account.
3- Choose the Manual setup or additional server types option and click Next.
4 - Select POP or IMAP and click Next.
5- In the User Information section, enter your name and Roadrunner email address.
6- In the Server Information section, choose IMAP or POP3 as your account type.
7- Enter the incoming mail server as "mail.twc.com" and the outgoing mail server as "mail.twc.com."
8- In the Logon Information section, enter your Roadrunner email address and password.
9- Select the Remember password option.
10 - Click on the More Settings option and choose the Outgoing Server tab.
11- Select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option.
12- Choose Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
13- Go to the Advanced tab and enter the following information:
Incoming server (IMAP): 993
Incoming server encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Outgoing server encrypted connection: TLS
14- Click OK and then click Next to test the settings.
15- Once you have successfully tested the settings, click on Finish to complete the setup process.
