Follow the below methods to rectify the QuickBooks error code 1712:

Step 1: Using QuickBooks Tool Hub

       Close any active QuickBooks sessions.

       After that, Download and install the QuickBooks Tool Hub.

       When the installation is complete, select Finish.

       Launch the Tool Hub and head to the Quick Fix My Program option in the Program Issues tab.

       Now, choose Installation issues tab in the Tool Hub.

       Click on the option to Run the QuickBooks Diagnostic Tool.

       Let the tool diagnose and fix any issues.

 

Step 2: Terminate all the processes related to QuickBooks

       Exit all open applications on the desktop.

       Next, press and hold Ctrl, Shift, and Esc simultaneously.

       In the Task Manager click on the Processes tab.

       Select each QuickBooks process and end each Task.

       Reopen QuickBooks and make sure if Error 1712 got rid of.
