Epic Studios is an exceptional media and entertainment centre located in the heart of East Anglia, away from the inflated prices and often chaotic, polluted environments surrounding many of the alternatives. Despite its rural location in Norwich, our studios are based just minutes away from an airport and reliable train service, so it is easy to reach us from anywhere in the country. We provide excellent facilities and experienced, friendly staff – trained to help with every aspect of TV production – and currently serve a diverse range of clients from around the UK.
Epic Studios Norwich makes an ideal pre-tour, technical and production rehearsal venue and is well equipped for projects such as music, advertisement or educational video production. Our largest studio (studio 1) boasts fibre optic infrastructure and cabling for 8 HD cameras and is suitable for a range of productions, including drama and light entertainment. Staging and audience seating for up to 520 people is available for this space, but configuration can also be tailored to suit intimate or mid-scale shows. Clients are given access to four dressing rooms; in-house catering; a laundry & repairs service; a make-up and hair salon; scenic lift and construction area; production offices; production, sound and engineering galleries; viewing theatre; online HD projection and 5.1 surround sound audio. We also have two smaller studios on site – complete with gallery and ideal for discussion and magazine shows. All studios cater for live streaming and live vision mixing.

Summary
Epic Studios is a thriving music venue and TV/entertainment centre in the heart of Norwich, with unrivaled facilities and a totally flexible studio space. We are looking for someone to join our team at this crucial stage of the business. Working for the Operational Manager in developing the business finances and efficiances. This is a new role but the roles and Responsibilities are changing as we at Epic look to the future.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Month end close process and the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts, Billing Reports, Aged Debtors
• Invoicing Payable & Receivable
• Developing Efficiencies in the Finance Dept.
• Work with the Ops Manager in Developing Budgeting, forecasting & re-forecasting.
• All Reconciliations (Bank Account & Credit Cards)
• Cash flow Management
• Day to day management and control of Sage Line 50, ensuring that the accounting system is accurate and up to date.
• Ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place.
• Help Develop Systems and Process for running and managing the Finance Department
• Assist in the day to day running and admin of Epic
• Assist the Operations manager in all contracts and bookings
• General office management, from supply to organisation
Person Specification
Previous experience in a financial role
Ideally this person will have a creative vibe in their personality and have a passion or a knowledge for TV, Performing Arts, and Music
Able to work at a fast pace and deadlines
Good People Skills and Great Communicator Organisational skills
Proactive, work on their own initiative
Time management skills
Strong desire to develop and grow with the business
Skills / Qualifications
Sage Line 50 Experience is desired but training provided
5 GCSE’s or Above Maths & English Essential
Working towards/willing to take AAT or ACA
Extensive Excel Spreadsheet Knowledge desired
