Kıl dönmesi, kişilerin yaşamlarını olumsuz yönde etkileyen sağlıksız bir durumdur. Genel olarak erkeklerde görülen kıl dönmesi, kuyruk sokumu denilen noktada daha çok kendisini gösterir. Daha çok oturarak çalışan kişilerde görülen bu rahatsızlık nadir de olsa kadınlarda da görülmektedir.

Tıp dilinde pilonidal sinüs adı verilen bu hastalık halk arasında kıl dönmesi olarak bilinmektedir. Vücutta düzenli olarak çıkan ve dökülen kıllar bazı durumlarda tam çıkamaz ve derinin altında ete doğru büyüme yapar. Oldukça sinsi ilerleyen bu rahatsızlık, kendisini çeşitli belirtilerle gösterir. Doğru tedavi uygulanmazsa tekrarlama riski olan bu hastalık için mutlaka uzman doktora görünmelisiniz.
